For a regular body massage, you usually lie in your underwear under a blanket, and only the part of the body being treated is uncovered. You decide how much you take off – shorts and a T-shirt are completely fine too, just say so at the start. For a neck and shoulder massage, you only need to take off your top.

Many private health insurances cover massage fully or partly, often on the condition that the therapist is RAB-registered. Ask your insurance company, and check on the therapist's profile whether they are RAB-registered. The public health insurance does not cover regular massage, and Sygeforsikringen "danmark" does not normally give a subsidy either.
